帝国データバンクは自社の企業リスク指標「倒産予測値」に基づき、2025年上半期の企業倒産リスクを分析した。その中で業種大分類別 高リスク企業数の推移のデータを出した。そして業種・地域・規模別の最新データが示す今後の倒産リスクを分析したところ、今後倒産リスクが高いとされる「高リスク企業」（グレード8～10）は全国で12万8552社となり、半年前から1592社増加した。また、業種内の高リスク企業割合（出現率）をみると、「出版・印刷・同関連産業」が41.0％、「飲食店」が38.3％、「皮革製造業」が37.6％と突出して高い。これは全体平均の8.7％を大きく上回っている。地域別では「長野県」の出現率が14.9％で最も高く、栃木県や島根県も上位に並んだ。物価高や人手不足、融資返済の本格化などが重なり、特に小規模事業者を中心に厳しい経営環境が続いている。業種ごとの動向を調査した結果、リスクの高まりと市場淘汰の進展が同時に進む実態が明らかになった。
